What do you think of Justin Langer's fast bowler comment?

I was listening to the radio ABC cricket coverage and Justin Langer was asked who was the fastest bowler he had ever faced? He replied that it was Shoaib Aktar and went on to say that he found a good way to keep focused on the ball. He said that he would watch the ball from the moment it was visible in the bowlers hand. He would focus all attention towards the seam and he said the ball seemed to come at him in slow motion. This gave him plenty of time to get his feet and body into position to play the correct stroke. I cant see it being like slow motion can you?
