I want to move back to L.A. again, but will I be walking into an early death (EARTHQUAKES)?

Why are people so freaked out about this all of the sudden? I've lived here FOREVER and I'm still alive, you said so yourself you lived here, and it didn't kill you, just cause Japan had one, doesn't mean we will in the next couple of decades.
