I need an inexpensive HD digital video camcorder?

Actually yes. The flip hd is the first thing that comes to my mind. It is way under 500 bucks. It has usb built in for easy transfer. And it can actually be mounted on a standard tripod screw. Unfortunately i dont think there is a way to connect a microphone to it. Hope this helps
