What do I do if I have a formerly rational friend, who now believes in ultra-libertarian conspiracy theories?

I have known people like this and at one time I blindly followed worldnetdaily and all that. You are right, it is poorly researched and plays on people's simplest emotions. I guess after a while I just saw how ridiculous it was, being around this redneck who always talked about "when the !@# hits the fan" and the "revolution". These people want just want something to believe in and want to be a part of something important. You can email me if you want to talk about it because I know exactly where your coming from. I was in your friends shoes at one time and I've known plenty of right and left wing extremists.
